Description The Thistle was adopted over 700 years ago as the emblem of Scotland, when according to legend it was responsible for signalling the clandestine approach of a horde of bare-footed invaders. A Thistle Brooch with a contemporary feel features a stone at the centre. Measures 3 x 2.5cm. Made in Scotland from old fashioned Pewter, all are supplied in a distinctive pillow gift box with general historical notes.
